The Scene in Sixth

May 6, 2019

Dear Parents and Students,

The play was FABULOUS and we are all tired as we move toward state testing next week!  We have a lot to cover, so hopefully absences will be minimal.  Thank you for the beautiful flowers this morning in celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week!

Hopefully you are receiving the Wednesday packet note. This includes weekly quizzes and tests so you can remain informed about your child's progress and efforts. They are to bring back the bottom portion with a signature on Thursday so I know you received it.

Many are still coming to school without charged chrome books, which is part of their responsibility. Every night your child should charge the Chromebook and put it in his/her backpack. Monday is our day in the lab and often we read on it or review vocabulary; it is always a writing tool as well. Additionally with testing they will need it here.

We continue reading The White Mountains, and will begin the study of China. In math we are finishing up work on absolute value and the coordinate plane with a test this Wednesday. Thursday we will begin Data and Statistics.
